El incesante aislamiento con el que hoy vivimos, comienza a ponernos en otras situaciones totalmente cambiantes en nuestra vida diaria, cambios con lo que hoy ya no es tan factible el NO llevarlos a cabo, lo cierto es que la pandemia vino a dar un influjo a la vida como la conocemos en los distintos ámbitos de la sociedad, desde los deportivo hasta lo turístico y demás. Saliéndome un poco de lo deportivo o luchístico, la famosa frase “todo cambio es para bien”, tal parece que la ha sentado al planeta, la forma en que los ecosistemas, la flora y fauna de nuestro orbe se ha beneficiado gracias al coronavirus es sinónimo de que algo querrá decir.
Pues bien, si, el coronavirus ha hecho que se tenga un impacto ambiental positivo, pero no ha sido tan benévolo con todo lo demás, la calidad del aire, no sé si se pueda “alegrar” de eso cada uno, ya que no estamos afuera para disfrutarlo. El impacto que el coronavirus ha tenido en cuanto nuestro deporte espectáculo, tal parece que ha agravado la situación, el no poder salir de casa, es solo una muestra de que las cosas desde un principio pintaban mal, habrá que sumarle que de la noche a la mañana cada evento y función se fue cayendo cual pieza de domino, una tras otra provocando dicho efecto.
Hoy con el confinamiento no tenemos más que esperar hasta cuando las cosas regresan a su cauce, no digo normalidad porque nunca lo fueron ni lo han sido. Lo cierto es que este virus vino a darnos en toda la “máscara”, por “x” o “y”, hoy ya no podemos distraernos en una arena, esperar el fin de semana o los días previo a un evento de nuestra localidad, el trabajar y juntar lo del boleto, el buscar dinero hasta debajo del sillón con tal de ir a la función y ver a mi luchador, comprarle una playera, el preguntar si habrá convivencia para tomarme la foto con él o ella (luchador) y una vez tomada, ¡“lo quiero volver a hacer”! terminada la lucha, nada más porque “creo yo no tienen otra cosa que hacer y los demás me tiene que aguantar”, y así detener la logística planeada de la función, hasta eso nos diste en la madre coronavirus… (Aunque eso de todas formas no se debe hacer), pero en fin, gritar, mentarle la madre a quien no soporto y chiflar a mi gladiadora (cada quien) todo eso te llevaste.
Si bien la lucha libre es un deporte, también es un negocio y una forma de vida, esta disciplina, no es como las demás, en el futbol los salarios si bien se enojan algunos jugadores por reducir sus pagos, no se tiene que esperar, si mañana cobras o no, su salario se respeta, el box es tan impredecible, ya que se rige bajo contratos por peleas, no se suben así porque así a pelear nada más, el béisbol los salarios están intocables, pero en nuestra lucha libre, las cosas no se dan para aguantar cada día más, porque cada arena necesita de esa vitalidad del aficionado gritando, tomando, el relajo, las risas, los niños, luces, música, (¡edecanes porque no!) todo eso necesita una arena y más la lucha.
El coronavirus afectó muchas cosas y no hay que olvidar que la lucha independiente es la que más ha sentido este confinamiento, la lucha resulta ser como todo, una forma de proveer dinero y sustento en muchas familias, el problema de parar funciones cuando los luchadores viven de eso es contrastante, y si una empresa como la WWE llego al margen de dejar ir algunos de sus luchadores es deplorable, pero es una empresa como en la que tantos mexicanos laboran, personas en el mundo y que pueden sufrir este mal, y no es que sea una decisión terrorífica al dejarlos sin trabajo en esta situación, también se tiene que ver que no solo los luchadores tienen derecho a un salario, son miles de personas las que laboral detrás de esta enorme marca mundial, pero cuando la situación llego a estas alturas se tiene que hacer algo, es momento de ponernos en el lugar de los hoy desempleados de Vince McMahon, que hasta ellos, la mejor empresa de lucha libre en el mundo, fueron afectados gracias a lo que este virus se llevó.
