Desde 1933, septiembre es el mes más representativo en la lucha libre mexicana pues la otrora Empresa Mexicana de Lucha Libre festeja su aniversario, pero este año la celebración será diferente, con el objetivo de seguir los lineamientos sanitarios que han marcado las autoridades en medio de la pandemia que vivimos. No faltan las críticas, pero con la Noche de Campeones el ahora Consejo Mundial no pasará de largo una fecha tan importante y demostrará coherencia con sus principios.
Pese a las complicaciones que han vivido los espectáculos masivos en todo el mundo, aún existen personas que están en contra de todo y a favor de nada. Es de risa ver cómo hace unas semanas aficionados se volcaban en halagos hacia Triple A cuando anunció que realizaría funciones en el estacionamiento del popular parque de diversiones Six Flags de la Ciudad de México. Ahí el golpe de autoridad lo daba la Caravana Estelar. Era quien le estaba “comiendo el mandado” al Consejo, que estaba aletargado, que no daba señales de vida ni se preocupaba por darle a la afición “lo que merece”.
Ahora las glorias y reconocimientos son para el CMLL, empresa que anunció funciones a puerta cerrada que arrancarán en vivo este viernes 4 de septiembre. ¿Que dónde está Triple A? ¿Qué pasó con las funciones anunciadas? Que defraudó a sus aficionados, etcétera, son algunas de las cosas que se leen en unas redes sociales que cada vez no sé qué dan más, si risa o tristeza.
Hay gente de memoria corta o que disfruta criticando sin tener la menor idea del manejo de una empresa de lucha libre, que exigen cada vez más y más y nunca están contentos, seguramente por eso existe la premisa que dice “al público no hay que darle lo que quiere”. Y es que en eso han caído muchos luchadores en forma particular. La gente aplaude un vuelo, pero al próximo luchador le exige dos vuelos, y al siguiente tres y nunca están satisfechos, mientras que los luchadores caen en ese juego que nunca podrán ganar.
Hace algún tiempo los rabiosos comentarios iban dirigidos al CMLL por “desaprovechar” la oportunidad de darle a la gente la lucha soñada, el Rush vs L.A.Park máscara contra cabellera, pero esos mismos aficionados quedaron mudos cuando en Triple A los protagonistas sellaron una alianza y la huesuda fue parte de Los Ingobernables. La noche de este viernes 4 de septiembre arrancarán las funciones a puerta cerrada que podrán seguir en vivo las personas que paguen su boleto virtual, en una estrategia que ha diseñado el CMLL para reactivar sus actividades de la mejor manera. La vida comienza a ver luz nuevamente en el roster del Consejo, ya que se han grabado desde hace algunas semanas varias funciones con prácticamente todo el elenco que, previamente, ha realizado su prueba de COVID-19. Esto da esperanza a muchos, sobre todo para los bolsillos de quienes tienen en la lucha libre su único ingreso económico.
Nadie sabe cuál es la realidad interna de cada empresa, de cómo se hace llegar recursos y cuánto han gastado en tratar de sobrevivir porque, no por ser empresas poderosas en su ramo, quiere decir que no han sufrido un duro golpe económico.
El Consejo confirmó la realización del 87 Aniversario con la posibilidad de tener un número limitado de asistentes a la Catedral de la lucha libre mexicana, y se mantiene coherente en su postura de hacer las cosas conforme lo marquen las autoridades; por su parte, Triple A no ha dado una fecha para regresar a la actividad formal, pero repito, cada empresa debe ser muy cuidadosa en los pasos que da en una situación nunca antes vista y no darle a la gente todo lo que quiera porque, ellos no serán quienes rescaten a una compañía en caso de dar un paso devastador.
